The Holland Group Inc.
The Holland Group was officially a separate business entity when it was incorporated in 2005.
The companies heritage, however, goes much further back.
In 1968 Bill Holland began his carrier at Merrill Lynch and almost immediately began doing a radio broadcast that would eventually turn Bill Holland into a San Diego household name in the areas of business and financial advice. Over the years he expanded to do not only news updates, but to also have a 3 hour live call in radio show and various regular television interviews. In short, he became the "voice of Wall Street" in San Diego.
Over the decades the investing industry changed significantly and with those changes Bill expanded his presence and changed with the times in order to maintain his original focus of "The client comes first!".
The Holland Group name was used by Bill and his associates starting in 1984 when he moved his business into new offices at 701 B Street. This is still the business location today as Bill is the oldest tenant in what is now the Bank of America branded building.
Today The Holland Group Inc. is comprised of a small number of licensed brokers, including his business partner and son, Michael Holland, whose focus is the same as Bill's ...
"The Client Comes First".
To that end, The Holland Group Inc. offers a retail transactional based platform via Western International Securities, a fee based platform as a stand alone Registered Investment Advisory firm, and access to Mutual Fund companies via direct business. Michael Holland is also a licensed California Insurance Agent. These different ways of doing business allow The Holland Group Inc. to work with each client to minimize costs depending upon which investments and cost structures are right for that individual or household.
